The Hopkins Landing Community is pleased to announce that by popular demand, the southern beach area, between Virginia's and Chapman's properties is now designated for nude bathing only. Signage to that effect will be posted prior to the summer swimming season to Reaction to the announcement from Hopkins Landing residents is enthusiastic. Said one resident, "My husband would like it if I use the new nude bathing area of the beach." Another resident said, "I've watched people swimming in the nude before and I would like to try it." The designated nude swimming area is effective between 8:00 AM and Noon, April 1, 2005.
